One television, one dial. It opens on the InferenceConjure projector, starts on a 1953 set with rabbit ears, overshoots into 1740, warms up in colour in 1985, sharpens in 2009, lands on a laptop today, and then the screen disappears. Along the way: a loom re-lit in Houdini as threads of light, the weaver in his wizard hat, the book, and the AI phoning its builder to say the trailer was ready. This is what Webspinner is building: AI that is approachable, safe, and for everyone. 3:56, made with Webspinner's Inference Conjure.
Excerpts from Shane (1953), A Great Awakening (2025), Back to the Future (1985, 40th anniversary trailer), Max Headroom (1985) and Transcendent Man (2009) are used as commentary, as is demonstration footage of a historic loom, with the weaver and narration removed and re-lit in Houdini.
